Hi guys. I know some of you really enjoy Imperialism 2 but think ’Nigh Impossible’ 400 games (the hardest) are totally unwinnable. I win on that level all the time (manuel combat) and a know a few others who do too, soo….. I would like to offer you a saved game to finish. It just [...]
Thanks to Dr Spet, there is now a world map for Imp 1. He has also provided three scenarios using the map. They are all available from the Yahoo Group’s files section. (You’ll need to join the group to access the page.) The map and scenarios were created using Tygger’s MapCreator utilities, which are [...]
Mike Turton has come up with this… ermm… gem:
Using the map key “Rhaganeth” will produce Jauja with six diamonds and a gem in the province next door — plus one more in Huanaco on the other side of Cuzco. There are two more diamonds and a gem on the map in total.
Steve King has complied a very thorough strategy guide for Trade Empires. It’s a 3mb PDF.
I’ve got the application process set so that you need to write me a message explaining why you want to join.
IMPORTANT: Please mention ‘Imperialism” or “Imp”, otherwise your application will be denied.
The reason: spam from idiots. We’ve had more than enough messages from dating sites, SEO consultants, and Biker Chicks to last us [...]
We have an Imp2 Map Editor! It’s early days, but Keith Bennett has put together the first ever editor for Imp 2.
—————————————————————-
Keith Bennett (kanezor@gmail.com) has done something that many of us had feared was impossible: he’s created an Imp2 map editor. This effort should get him a knighthood or something. This [...]
FlashofSteel have published an interesting article about the Imp siblings, complete with input from Bill Speith, one of Imp’s creators.
Thanks to AMRush and his work with the Imp2 map editor, we now have our very first, fully functional, custom-made map for Imp 2.
Download from the Imp_List Yahoo Group’s files page.

Welcome…
This new version of the Daily Imp is still being tweaked and massaged. Please feel free to offer any input, advice, feedback or complaints by using the Contact page in the main menu... still to do: the categories are a bit of a mess, plus there are some well-known maps that need to have posts about them. ALSO, new policy: whenever I see an informative or entertaining post on the the Imp_List group, I'll repost it here.Ads

"... wonderfully tuned, challenging, complex without being overwhelming, and wears it's gameplay proudly on it's sleeve. Frog City should be wildly commended for shipping such an excellent title, and showing that turn based games, even ones without (relatively) big name licenses, can still pull their weight when it comes to fun. I strongly recommend this game." -- Rob "Xemu" Fermier, Irrational GamesArchives
"This game has totally blown me away, I have lost many hours of sleep playing through the night and have even wagged school so that I could get more game time, not to mention the hours of study I have missed out on for exams due to this freak of nature." -- Alex the Alien
