Imperialism was one of the first ever games I got bought for me when I was a kid. I loved it. I didn't really have any other exposure to strategy games prior to it so when I got it it was like wow. Since then I've been an avid strategy gamer but I always yearned for imperialism, from getting madly frustrated that you can't upgrade your factories for lack of resources to the pleasure of your first country becoming a colony so cool. So I really want to join this site, because I had trade empires and imperialism 2 but I sucked at both of them, and I'd like to learn to win. Also and more importantly imperialism is still completely playable for me and I really want to discuss it. Well what can I say?
